Bar K, the Pet Care Innovation Prize, and the Veterinary Innovation Council are bringing together the best startups and entrepreneurs in the pet and veterinary industries on August 26th for a pet tech meetup: An open-air event at Bar K on the evening before the start of the 2021 Veterinary Innovation Summit in Kansas City.
What to Expect:
- A panel discussion with successful pet startup entrepreneurs, industry executives, and investors.
- A networking opportunity like no other, where you’ll be able to mingle with investors and other entrepreneurs alike. Special guests include the Board members of the NAVC Veterinary Innovation Council.
- A showcase of the most innovative pet startups in the region. Presentation booths, and elevator pitches from each startup.
A chance to apply for the 2022 Pet Care Innovation Prize, and speak to the judges (evaluators) directly.
About the organizers:
Bar K, a 2021 Kansas City “startup to watch,” is a unique and joyful destination featuring a fully-staffed dog park, modern bar/restaurant, & event space. Bar K brings engaged, community-minded people and their dogs together to share connections with their pups and each other in a joyful and creative space.
The Pet Care Innovation Prize provides a unique blend of visibility, connection, expertise, and community, all backed by affiliation with Purina, a world leader in pet care. Through their Pet Care Innovation Prize (PCIN), $250,000 of non-dilutive capital has been awarded to pet startups across the US.
The Veterinary Innovation Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access and quality in animal healthcare worldwide by developing and championing disruptive solutions surrounding key emerging issues.
